how long before we have to start downloading music? What date does it go into effect?

I only know they were mentioning about them in April 2007. Last I heard these new laws were impending, that was about a month ago. So fingers crossed the bill doesn’t pass as this will ruin Canada’s film, television, net and music industry. There are no recent links on the net about them either. So they haven’t been passed as yet.
