Why piracy is still up and going?

30% off PopCap's most popular titles

These are simple reasons I think why

1. The support for piracy is still very huge especially among the younger ones and hardcore consumers.

2. Companies can’t afford to setup stores selling their products around the world. So, pirates take advantage of that flaw and reproduce the products to a much cheaper price, affordable to those who earn little pay.

3. Reproducing and selling pirated goods are not that expensive and the reward they get from selling these goods are big ones. This only encourage pirates to expand their piracy business.

4. It’s almost impossible to wipe out the whole piracy business as these business use gangsters and technologies to protect themselves.

So, what do you think? Do you agree? Feel free to add your own reasons.
Feel free to add more explanation to why Piracy is still up and going apart from the four.
